Cooperation with Bulgarian and foreign companies

ENPRO Consult has worked as a subcontractor or in cooperation with leading Western companies such as Westinghouse and AREVA, and also has a number of successful joint projects with EQE Bulgaria, EnergoService, IINAE BAS.

The company has a long-standing scientific and technical cooperation with the German GRS, in which the programs ATHLET, ATHLET-CD, COCOSYS and SUSA are developed.

ENPRO CONSULT’s capabilities to perform supporting activities

  1. Providing technical consultations related to the systems of VVER units and their operational characteristics and verifying their compliance with the requirements of the Bulgarian, European and IAEA safety requirements.
  2. Participation in the preparation and verification of safety justification reports related to the construction and modernization of units at NPPs in accordance with the Law on the Use of Atomic Energy and the NRA Regulations.
  3. Technical and expert assistance in interpreting Bulgarian and Russian regulatory requirements and standards for design in nuclear and conventional energy facilities.
  4. Translation of technical documentation from Bulgarian or Russian into English.
  5. Translation of documentation from English into Bulgarian, as well as from Bulgarian into English.

  • ENPRO Consult Ltd. gives students of Nuclear Energy and Thermal Power Engineering the opportunity to work in the company's office and get to know the business up close. The duration of the internships is 3 months (July, August and September). The deadline for submitting documents is the end of June each calendar year.

Requirements for candidates:

– To be students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year, studying the specialty "Thermal Power Engineering or Nuclear Power Engineering"

– To have a minimum GPA of 4.00 in the last semester;

– To show high motivation and desire for development, as well as high personal discipline.

Application documents

  1. Motivation letter for applying for the program, for development in the relevant field, interests and extracurricular activities/projects and professional experience.
  2. Certificate from the Technical University - city Sofia or Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski" that for the current academic year the student is enrolled in a full-time form of study in one of the specified programs.
  3. A copy of a bachelor's degree diploma or a certificate of completion of a degree with a calculated average grade point average. For applicants after the first semester of the master's program, an additional certificate with a calculated average grade point average for the semester before application is required.

Only candidates approved on the basis of documents will be invited to an interview.
