Experience in using computer programs, verification and validation

Specialized computer programs are the main tool in performing the main tasks of ENPRO CONSULT. The company has acquired the necessary computer systems and codes. Highly professional IT specialists maintain the operating systems (MS Windows and Linux) and maintain the security of information resources in the local network.

If necessary, Version Control System (VCS) is widely used.

Extensive experience has been accumulated in the field of modeling, verification and validation of models, including documentation and archiving.

Based on ATHLET and the ATLAS visualization system, an analysis simulator for units 5 and 6 at Kozloduy NPP has been developed. It is a powerful tool for verification of emergency instructions. The simulator includes models of the VVER-1000 control systems and provides the opportunity for interactive control.

  • ENPRO Consult Ltd. gives students of Nuclear Energy and Thermal Power Engineering the opportunity to work in the company's office and get to know the business up close. The duration of the internships is 3 months (July, August and September). The deadline for submitting documents is the end of June each calendar year.

Requirements for candidates:

– To be students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year, studying the specialty "Thermal Power Engineering or Nuclear Power Engineering"

– To have a minimum GPA of 4.00 in the last semester;

– To show high motivation and desire for development, as well as high personal discipline.

Application documents

  1. Motivation letter for applying for the program, for development in the relevant field, interests and extracurricular activities/projects and professional experience.
  2. Certificate from the Technical University - city Sofia or Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski" that for the current academic year the student is enrolled in a full-time form of study in one of the specified programs.
  3. A copy of a bachelor's degree diploma or a certificate of completion of a degree with a calculated average grade point average. For applicants after the first semester of the master's program, an additional certificate with a calculated average grade point average for the semester before application is required.

Only candidates approved on the basis of documents will be invited to an interview.
